Meet Frank Seratch, MPT and Sarah Seratch, MPT (Owners)

Since founding NEPT the Seratchs have enjoyed working with all ages to enhance their lives. From young clients still in school experiencing difficulty with muscle strength or gait to the geriatric population having pain or increased fall risk they will formulate a personalized program for your individualized care.

Frank and Sarah opened their first office in Hazleton, Pennsylvaniain 2000. They wanted to offer quality physical therapy services to residents of their hometown in a small, family-type setting. Even once expanding into Shenandoah and Drums, they continue to pride themselves on that personalized feeling.

Frank, having a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy specializes in and enjoys working with clients complaining of back pain and specifically pelvic obliquities, helping those with minor back injuries to those with severe pain and the inability to complete daily activities. Frank is also happy to share his expertise in shoulder injury and surgery. Spending many hours exclusively on the shoulder complex had allowed him to achieve outstanding results with his patients. Frank can be found most days at the Hazleton office or the Shenandoah office.

Sarah, also with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy can be found in their Drums office. Specializing in the geriatric population, and being Certified in Fall Risk Management and in the LSVT BIG for Parkinson's Disease, Sarah has achieved high respect from her patients for improving their gait and balance, and decreasing their fall risk. Sarah has also enjoyed specializing in the shoulder complex, treating both pain and injury and helping clients return to work or play quicker and with less pain. Focusing on each individual in their own personalized program achieves results.

Occupational Therapist

Occupational therapists help people of all ages participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Unlike other professions, occupational therapy helps people function in all of their environments (e.g., home, work, school, community) and addresses the physical, psychological, and cognitive aspects of their well-being through engagement in occupation.

Emalee is an occupational therapist who specializes in working with the geriatric population. She is passionate about utilizing a functional approach in helping others regain independence in areas that are meaningful and purposeful to each patient. Emalee is certified in LSVT BIG for Parkinson's Disease, and has experience in treating the vestibular system, dementia, hip/knee replacements, neurological conditions, and several other diagnoses. When she's not at work, you'll find her spending as much time as she can at the lake, reading a good book, and spending time with her husband and puppy!
